Fall Style Inspiration

It took a while, but now I'm finally excited about fall; of course a big portion of my excitement comes from fall fashion possibilities.  Here is some "Pinspiration" from my Fall Style Pinterest Board and some items I'd love to add to my fall wardrobe this season.

Light Layers

Late summer is the perfect time to wear light layers.  It's even better when one of those layers can be functional by providing multiple pockets.

I've come to the conclusion that I carry around way too much stuff in my bag on weekdays but I can't help myself.  I want to be prepared for any occasion (tired feet in need of flats, make-up retouch, desire to write down my thoughts, rain...you get the idea).   So on weekends, I now stick to cross body bags like this vintage Coach one I bought recently or clutches. See past what's in by bag posts here and here.   Now I have to just translate this less is better mentality to my weekday bag...

Whisper Blue

I'm usually drawn to bold, bright colors or prints in the summer, but I couldn't resist this pale blue bag when I saw it a couple weeks ago.  I decided to be "matchy" for work the other day and wear it with a skirt of a similar shade.  I think it's okay if the colors you wear sometimes whisper rather than shout.

Currently wishing for...an everyday springy bag

Since winter has decided to stick around in Philly until the very end of the season, I'll start focusing on a spring item I can wear right now, like a handbag for every day wear.
