26 of 30: Subtle sparkles

26-of-30

My favorite footwear for winter time are boots.  I love boots of varying heights and the fact that they can add so much to an outfit.  They can dress up or dress down a look like no other type of shoe in my opinion.  Once I find a pair of boots I love, I tend to wear them so much that they either have to go to the shoe repair at the end of the season or be permanently retired.  I'll give the boots I'm currently wearing a much needed break when I finish the 30 for 30 (tomorrow!) and take them to the shoe repair so they will be ready to wear next season.

Just wanted to say that I am new to you blog, and I'm a big fan of your style! Also, the boots I've been wearing to death all winter are desperately awaiting their trip to the cobbler to be re-heeled!

I've never bought boots expensive enough to warrant repair when they break. I think I should really consider buying some that are a better quality that my cheapos I can throw out.

You look amazing in that teal! I love the sparkles and the necklace!

Thanks! What a lovely complement! Getting shoes repaired definitely extends the life of my favorite ones.

Thanks lady!

I've found some really good quality boots at places that aren't too pricey like Marshall's and DSW. I wear boots so much in the winter, I don't mind spending a bit more money for them as opposed to other types of shoes.

I'm getting more excited about wearing boots now that they're an option instead of a necessity (all the snow melted). Seriously, I love those shorts!
