I've always felt that accessories and jewelry really make an outfit pop.  I've seen photos of myself as a kid draped in my mother's scarves, bags and jewelry that prove that this isn't a new concept for me.

Year-round Lace

I don't subscribe to the idea that white should only be worn between Memorial Day and Labor Day.  I say, wear any color you choose when you feel like it! This inexpensive Target lace skirt has proven to be versatile and season less. Every time I place it in the donate or swap pile, I pull it back out.  I'm just not ready to part with it yet.
