Sunshine is Something to Smile About

Outfit 5.16.11_2

Shirt: Tucker for Target; Skirt: Urban Outfitters; Shoes: Zappos; Bag: Marshalls

Happy Monday folks! Despite the frequent rainy days this spring in DC, I still love this time of year because of the extended sunlight in the evenings.  Sunlight is always something to smile about in my opinion.  More sunlight translates into more enjoyable evenings and makes it more likely that I'll have time to fit in outdoor outfit shots on a given day.

Outfit 5.16.11

This outfit is not yellow, typically the color you associate with sunshine, but is still rather cheerful.

  8. Nice subtle pattern mixing with the shoes :)  You're definitely right that it's cheerful!  I love sunshine and it'll be more than 10 days without it by the time the weather clears on Sunday... it's been so rainy here too!
