Philly Blog Love is having its first Twitter Party next Tuesday, November 12th from 9-10pm. Anyone can participate, just use the hashtag #PBLStyleChat. One tweeter will win a $200 gift card!
I don't think i'd leave a party without saying goodbye, though I've noticed at events as soon as one person leaves, it triggers everyone else to say goodbye and the crowd is gone within 20 minutes.
I understand the point of the article but I agree with you. At a large/crowded party, if the host was in conversation or busy, I'd consider catching their attention and wave good-bye rather than the long-drawn out farewell.
Wait that goodbye idea is so perplexing. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable to just leave - have you tried it?
